صحت عامہ کے شعبے کو خصوصی ترجیح دی جا رہی ہے۔ ڈینگی کے خلاف مہم، اسپتالوں پر اچانک چھاپے اور سخت نگرانی نے اداروں کو مزید فعال کر دیا ہے۔ اسی طرح پولیس کی بہتر کارکردگی کی وجہ سے صوبے میں جرائم کی شرح نمایاں طور پر کم ہوئی ہے۔ خواتین کو تنگ کرنے والے مجرموں کو فوری اور سخت سزائیں دی گئیں، جو باقی معاشرے کے لیے عبرت کا نشان بن گئی ہیں۔
تنقید اور حقیقت
بلاشبہ، ہر تبدیلی کے ساتھ تنقید بھی آتی ہے۔ مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تنقید ہمیشہ انہی پر کی جاتی ہے جو کچھ کرنے کی ہمت رکھتے ہیں۔ جبکہ دوسرے صوبوں میں عوامی مقامات پر مٹی اور دھول اڑ رہی ہے، پنجاب میں ترقی اور خدمت کے چرچے ہیں۔ یہ فرق جرات مندانہ قیادت اور عوامی خدمت کے جذبے کا ہے۔
