جسٹس میاں محمد شاہ دین صاحب ہمایوں
برطانوی ہندوستان کے پہلے مسلمان جج اور برطانوی پنجاب کے پہلے مسلمان چیف جسٹس۔ مسلم لیگ کے بانیان میں شامل، شملہ وفد 1906 کے رکن اور آل انڈیا مسلم لیگ کے صدر بھی رہے۔ علامہ اقبال نے ان کے لیے بانگ درا میں مشہور نظم اے ہمایوں لکھی۔
سر میاں محمد شفیع
مسلم لیگ کے بانیان میں سے ایک اور مسلم لیگ کا نام تجویز کرنے والے۔ جداگانہ انتخاب پر ڈٹے رہنے کی وجہ سے مسلم لیگ دو حصوں میں تقسیم ہوگئی۔ تحریک پاکستان میں نہایت اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ 1932 میں ان کی اچانک وفات نے تاریخ کا دھارا بدل ڈالا۔
بیگم جہاں آرا شاہنواز
سر میاں محمد شفیع کی صاحبزادی اور تحریک پاکستان میں خواتین کی ہراول دستے کی رہنما۔ ان کی کتاب Father and Daughter قیمتی تاریخی دستاویز ہے۔
بیگم گیتی آرا بشیر احمد
سر میاں محمد شفیع کی دوسری صاحبزادی، میاں بشیر احمد کی اہلیہ اور جسٹس شاہدین کی بہو۔ خواتین کو متحرک کرنے میں نمایاں کردار ادا کیا، خصوصاً 1940 کے لاہور اجلاس میں۔

مسلم اسٹوڈنٹس فیڈریشن کے سربراہ، قرارداد پاکستان کے وقت مجلس عاملہ کے سیکرٹری۔ ان کی نظم ملت کا پاسباں ہے محمد علی جناح قائداعظم کے سامنے پڑھی گئی۔ ہمایوں رسالہ کے بانی، پاکستان کے پہلے سفیر ترکی، پاک ترک تعلقات کے فروغ میں کلیدی کردار۔
میاں منظر بشیر
المنظر لاہور کے وارث، قائداعظم اور محترمہ فاطمہ جناح کے میزبان۔ ایوب خان کی آمریت کے خلاف جدوجہد میں سرگرم اور آخر ایام میں سعید بدر صاحب کے ہاں مقیم رہے۔
جناب سعید بدر صاحب
پاکستان کے سینئر صحافی، روزنامہ جنگ، امروز، مشرق اور نوائے وقت میں اعلیٰ عہدوں پر فائز رہے۔ پاکستان پبلک ریلیشنز سوسائٹی کے بانی، ہزاروں مضامین اور کئی کتابوں کے مصنف۔ مادر ملت فاطمہ جناح کے ساتھی اور ایوب خان کے خلاف ہراول دستے میں شامل۔ 6 مئی 2022 کو لاہور میں انتقال کیا۔
Justice Mian Muhammad Shah Din
The first Muslim judge of British India and the first Muslim Chief Justice of Punjab. A founding member of the Muslim League, part of the 1906 Simla Delegation, and President of the All India Muslim League. Allama Iqbal dedicated the famous poem “Ay Humayun” in his honor.
Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi
A founding member of the Muslim League and the one who proposed its name. His firm stance on separate electorates led to a split in the League into two factions: the Jinnah Group and the Shafi Group. He played a pivotal role in the Pakistan Movement. His sudden death in 1932 changed the course of history.
Begum Jahan Ara Shahnawaz
Daughter of Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi and a leading figure in mobilizing women during the Pakistan Movement. Her book “Father and Daughter” is a valuable historical record.
Begum Giti Ara Bashir Ahmad
Second daughter of Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi, wife of Mian Bashir Ahmad, and daughter-in-law of Justice Shah Din. She played a vital role in mobilizing women, particularly during the 1940 Lahore session.
Mian Bashir Ahmad
Leader of the Muslim Students Federation, Secretary of the Working Committee during the Lahore Resolution. His poem “Millat ka Pasban hai Muhammad Ali Jinnah” was recited before Quaid-e-Azam and highly praised. Founder of the magazine Humayun, Pakistan’s first ambassador to Turkey, and a key figure in Pak-Turk relations.
Mian Manzar Bashir
Heir of “Al-Manzar” in Lahore, host to Quaid-e-Azam and Fatima Jinnah. Grandson of Justice Shah Din, grandson of Sir Mian Shafi, and son of Begum Giti Ara. Opposed Ayub Khan’s dictatorship and hosted Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. Spent his final days at the home of his dear friend Saeed Badar.
Mr. Saeed Badar
A senior journalist of Pakistan, served at leading newspapers such as Jang, Imroze, Mashriq, and Nawa-i-Waqt. Founding member of the Pakistan Public Relations Society, editor of WAPDA’s publications, author of thousands of articles and many books. Companion of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah in the struggle against Ayub Khan’s dictatorship. Passed away on May 6, 2022, in Lahore.
